Coordinates the collection and management of Ball’s global sustainability data, including operational sustainability metrics and greenhouse gas inventories. Establishes effective relationships with data owners across the company and ensures accurate and timely data reporting at corporate, business and regional levels.

Responsabilities:

 

Enablon Administration

• Administers Enablon, Ball’s final repository for operational sustainability data, and continuously improves the platform
• Provides day-to-day support and training to all regions, ensuring the effective use of Enablon and works with IT and EHS to drive engagement and use of the platform 

Operational Sustainability Data

• Maintains inventory of global operational sustainability data ("Big 6")
• Prepares monthly performance reporting for all businesses and regions
• Tracks progress against Ball’s operational sustainability goals and coordinates with global operations and engineering to analyse and report on progress or variances in operational sustainability performance
• Assists in development of modelling tools to support achievement of various sustainability goals related to operational performance
• Supports Integrated Reporting through the annual external assurance of sustainability data, by (1) performing ongoing quality assurance and quality control of sustainability data and (2) maintaining documentation of data management procedures and processes, enabling continuous improvement in both

Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory

• Maintains global GHG inventories (Scopes 1 and 2, Scope 3)
• Maintains Ball’s GHG accounting policies and procedures and monitors and reports on carbon accounting updates
• Tracks progress against Ball’s science-based targets and updates baseline and assumptions as required

Life Cycle Analysis

• Administer and further develop Ball’s in-house LCA tool
• Perform customized LCA calculations for internal and external stakeholders, including the gathering of input data from various sources
• Support Ball in technical LCA discussions and related standard setting processes
• Perform annual regional product carbon footprint updates that support Ball’s value chain SBT

Supplier Sustainability Survey

• Updates the annual Supplier Sustainability Survey to improve primary data collection for Scope 3 emissions primarily related to purchased metal
• Performs analysis on survey results and reports on findings in order to support GHG emission inventory improvement and procurement strategies

Water Security Support

• Updates and enhances annual water risk analysis tools
• Supports the development of water risk management guidance documents and data tracking processes

Additional Information and Analytics

• Gathers and consolidates other sustainability metrics required for sustainability reporting (HR, material usages, etc.)
• Coordinates Ball-internal annual plant sustainability survey
• Completes templates for annual internal sustainability award scheme

• Broad training in related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience
• Job related experience for 2 year(s) minimum
• Fluent English
